    Step 1

    麻辣汤底做法:在汤锅中加热油,加入大蒜、八角、肉桂和干辣椒炒香。To prepare the mala stock: Heat up oil in a stock pot, add in garlic, star anise, cinnamon stick, dried chili to cook until fragrant.

    Step 2

    加入麻辣粉、香菇调味料和盐再煮1分钟。Then add in mala powder, mushroom seasoning and salt to let it cook for another 1 minute.

    Step 3

    注入清水,转中火熬煮至沸腾。Pour in water and allow it to simmer over medium heat till boiling.

    Step 4

    准备一个大且深的锅煲,在底部铺上包菜,再铺上鱼片。Prepare a big deep stainless steel tray, lay the bottom of the tray with cabbage then open the fish to lay on the middle.

    Step 5

    逐一排入其他材料,再淋上汤汁。将锅煲放在炉上慢慢煮沸。Surround the fish with all the ingredients and pour the soup over. Place the tray on a stove and let the fish slowly boil with all the condiments around it.

    Step 6

    待鱼肉完全煮熟后即可享用。或可变成火锅吃法。Fish fully cooked and its ready to serve. It can also be serve like a steamboat middle of the table.
