    西瓜鸡对人体生长发育有重要作用的磷脂类,是人体膳食结构中脂肪和磷脂的重要来源之一。鸡肉对营养不良、畏寒怕冷、乏力疲劳、月经不调、贫血、虚弱等有很好的食疗作用。中医认为,鸡肉有温中益气、补虚填精、健脾胃、活血脉、强筋骨的功效。

    Step 1

    在西瓜蒂的顶端四分之一处切开,用汤匙把瓜瓤舀出来。Cut the top quarter of the watermelon, scoop out the flesh with a spoon.

    Step 2

    鸡肉洗净剁成大块川烫除血水备用。Wash the chicken and chop it into large pieces.

    Step 3

    把姜、红枣、枸杞洗净备用。Wash ginger, red dates and wolfberry for later use.

    Step 4

    把鸡肉、姜片等加入西瓜盅大约8分满的清水放入锅中煮滚5分钟熄火,然后把鸡汤倒入西瓜盅内,用保鲜膜包好。Boil chicken and ginger with water for 5 minutes and turn off the heat. Pour the chicken soup into the watermelon cup and wrap it with plastic wrap.

    Step 5

    把西瓜盅的顶部盖子合起来,放大碗里,然后端上蒸锅,小火隔水蒸2.5小时即可用鱼露或盐调味,撒上葱花上桌享用。Close the top watermelon cup, and put it in the steamer, steam it over low heat for 2.5 hours, then season with fish sauce or salt, sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve.
