    Step 1

    把两种糯米滴干后拌入3汤匙食油、1汤匙白糖和少许盐。 Drain the both glutinous rice & mix with 3 Tbsps cooking oil, 1 Tbsp sugar & some salt.

    Step 2

    取2片粽叶排成平行,然后摺成斗形。 Make a long cone from the 2 large bamboo leaves by swirling it.

    Step 3

    填入1-2匙糯米,然后放入莲蓉, Place about 1-2 Tbsps mixed glutinous rice into the cone & press light,

    Step 4

    再填入少许绿豆半,再填入糯米把它覆盖。 top with a ball of lotus paste, then some mung beans before topping up with the balance glutinous rice mixture.

    Step 5

    把粽叶折成包裹状,如图般以草绳绑紧。 Fold up like a parcel & using a hemp string tie it up like in the picture.

    Step 6

    把粽子放入锅内,加盐煮1 小时15分钟 至1 小时30分钟到熟为止。 Boil in boiling salted water for 1 ¼ - 1 ½ hours or until cooked.
