    栗子焖鸡是一道传统的风味名菜。此菜黄亮油润,鸡酥栗糯,汁浓味香。以嫩鸡、栗子合烹,经炸、蒸、焖三道工序始成。

    Step 1

    用1大匙油爆香洋葱、蒜头和姜片,加入冬菇炒匀,加入水煮滚,转小加盖火焖20分钟。Sauté onion, garlic and ginger with 1 tbsp of hot oil, toss in mushrooms, add in water and bring to boil; and cover with lid and simmer for 20 minutes in low heat.

    Step 2

    加入板栗、鸡块和红萝卜块,继续焖25-30分钟至鸡肉和板栗软。Add in chestnut, chicken and carrot; continue to simmer for another 25-30 minutes until the chicken and chestnut are soft.

    Step 3

    加入调味料焖至汁浓稠,盛起,洒上适量芫茜和青葱即可。Add seasonings and simmer until gravy thickens; sprinkle with plenty of coriander and scallions over before serving.
